Project Manager

Location: Albany, NY

Description:
NYSTEC is seeking a Project Manager in our Albany , NY location with experience in enterprise-wide software implementation projects.

Responsibilities:
-Work closely with project sponsors, stakeholders and project team to ensure that project deliverables satisfy client needs.
-Develop system requirements, business process analysis documents, hardware/software specifications and procurement documentation (RFPs, RFIs, Mini-Bids).
-Prepare project schedules, budgets and proposals.
-Coordinate and facilitate client meetings.
-Migration planning.
-Status reports and follow-up documentation.

Requirements:
-3 to 5 years Project Management experience (PMP preferred).
-Computer Science or related technical degree(s).
-Proficiency with standard project management tools & methods.
-Experience in enterprise-wide systems in a medium-sized environment.
-Experience with Oracle-based projects in an enterprise-wide environment.
-Strong team building, facilitation and conflict-resolution skills.
-Strong documentation and writing skills.

Network Consultant

Location: Rome, NY

Description:
NYSTEC is seeking a Network Consultant to provide systems- and network-engineering support and advice to clients in the specification, procurement, assessment, development, implementation and testing of large-scale Information Technology Systems and Networks. Successful candidate will interface directly with clients, prepare documentation and provide present the results of project tasks. Telecommunications or network-systems operations experience, network-design experience and appropriate industry certifications (e.g. CCNA) preferred. Experience with network tools, network topologies, network design, switches, routers, operating systems (LINUX, Windows), firewalls, LAN/WAN services and technologies required. Experience with cost estimation of networks, requirements development and management, and experience with MS Office desirable. Strong communication skills (written and verbal), strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well on teams required. Travel to Albany and NYC required. Send resume to HR@NYSTEC.com.
